The Cuyahoga Valley Career Center will offer a free seminar for parents titled "Bully-Proof Your Kid" on Oct. 21, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The seminar will be of special interest to parents of elementary and middle school age students.
Susan Fee, a licensed counselor and popular author and speaker, will explain how to recognize bullying behaviors and signs of trouble, and how to reinforce positive communication skills.
She also teaches resiliency skills and how to model empathy.
The seminar is free and open to the public, but registration is requested.
