David Sommers & Associates, LLC announces that Sagamore Hills resident Jeffrey G. Meyers, NCARB, LEED AP, has been named an associate in the Kent-based architecture, planning and interiors firm.
A registered architect, Meyers also holds U.S. Green Building Council LEED certification. Meyers earned a master's of architecture degree and a certificate of urban design in 2004, as well as a bachelor of science degree in architecture in 2002 from Kent State University.
Meyers worked as a project architect in the firm since 2003 and recently rejoined Sommers & Associates after spending a year at HHSDR Architects/Engineers in Sharon, Pa.
Meyers and his wife Lauren live in Sagamore Hills, where he serves as vice president of the Sagamore Hills Township Board of Zoning Appeals. He is a member of the Kent Jaycees and volunteers as a wrestling coach at Theodore Roosevelt High School in Kent.
