Booth space is still available for the March 20 Nordonia Hills Chamber of Commerce Community Expo. "Discover Nordonia Hills" is the theme this year. What about your business and organization? Will your competition be there? Don't miss this opportunity to promote your product or services to over 2,000 area residents and business people. How long would it take you to pass out that many business cards? More than one day, I'm sure. Let us do the work for you.
With every booth you get a table, two chairs, back curtain, table covering and skirting, two name tags, and a listing on the Chamber Web site and in the special section of the March 17 News Leader -- even coffee and a doughnut to start your day. Call the Chamber office at 330-467-8956 right away to let us begin promoting your business.
What's new this year? To help you "discover Nordonia Hills", we've invited two characters your children will recognize. They can help you on your scavenger hunt to find the tools you'll need to explore. If you find them all, you might win the $100 cash prize donated by Jackson Comfort Systems.
And make sure you get your wristband when you enter. It will help us count attendees, but also, it will get you a free watch battery at Don Basch Jewelers. If you bring an old cell phone for Cell Phones for Soldiers, Scentsy Wickless Warmers will give you a free car deodorizer.
Hungry? In addition to the usual hot dogs and nachos, we'll be offering pizza from Fratelli's and Spennatos and chicken sandwiches from Chick-fil-A in our food court.
UH Bedford Medical Center will be offering free health screenings all day and some of our chiropractors will be giving massages. Check your golf swing at the Chamber golf outing booth. Chairperson Mike Dolan (Choice Designs) is bringing his putting green to get you ready for our golf outing on Aug. 16.
When you're ready for a break, take a seat in the cafeteria and enjoy entertainment provided by school musical groups, area church choirs and Fisher Family Martial Arts. Spots are still available in the entertainment schedule if you would like your group to share their talents.
There will be something for everyone so please schedule your day with us, March 20 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Nordonia High School. Admission is free, parking is free and the fun is free.

Is life getting you down? Feeling as if your luck has run out? Well, hold on. The 2010 Chamber scholarship raffle committee is currently selling tickets for this annual fundraiser for scholarships for graduating Nordonia seniors.
All items have a value of over $100 and you get to pick the prize you want to win. Yes, it's a "Chinese" raffle. Each raffle prize will have its own ticket box. You decide what prize you want and put your tickets in that box.
There is no limit to the number of tickets you put in any box. Renters no longer have to worry about winning a furnace tune-up. Our "empty nesters" won't win three months of free day care -- unless that is the prize they choose.
Tickets are now available at the Chamber office, $20 for 25 tickets, $5 for six tickets or $1 each. For more information, call the Chamber office at 330-467-8956.
