Recreation News: Winter land and water fitness classes have begun

Session II for winter land and water fitness classes have begun:

* Aqua Boot Camp is Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 to 7 p.m. Enlist in Aqua Boot Camp to achieve your fitness goals -- definitely a fun class. A low impact, high energy class using a combination of intervals and drills designed to improve your cardiovascular system and muscle tone without the traditional wear and tear on your body. A must try for avid aerobic participants.

* Aqua Yoga is Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 to 8 p.m. Explore your body, mind and spirit in a fluid environment. This exercise class fuses a combination of yoga, Pilates and tai chi to create a workout that builds core strength and flexibility leaving you feeling centered and calm. Learn stretching exercises that seamlessly flow from one to the next, using a mindful workout sequence that brings the body into a state of harmony.

Swim lessons
began in March
