The News Leader was awarded second place for Best Non-Daily Newspaper in Ohio in the Press Club of Cleveland's Excellence in Journalism Awards.
Another Record Publishing Co. newspaper, The Stow Sentry, tied for first place with the Cleveland Jewish News in the same category.
The awards were presented June 18.
