When you have a graduating class of almost 800 students, after 40 years, they are spread out across the U.S.
More accurately, they are spread out across the world. Nicaragua, India, California, Texas, Colorado, Florida, Illinois. And, yes, Ohio.
The problem is when you hold a reunion is trying to find all these folks. Some will never be found, some never want to be found and others, unfortunately, have passed away. But it doesn't keep a committee from trying to find them, even though they are spread out, too.
The Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, High School Class of 1968 is holding its 40th reunion the weekend of Oct. 3. It is still in the planning stages at this point, but to get the folks together courtesy of the Internet, a Web site, http://www.fallshigh68.com,was created.
Mark Noonan, a 68 grad living in Las Vegas, working with Don Pesich, still in Ohio, created the Web site. Alumni, family and friends are welcome to go to the site to see what is going on. There are pages from the yearbooks, photo albums of photos from high school days and other reunions, current photos, pages of updates called "Then and Now, Wow," and a memorial page for those who have passed away. Alumni can register to be kept abreast of reunion information only under Fast Registration. The registration will be kept confidential if the grad wants that.
Anyone having questions or knowing the whereabouts of a 1968 Falls High grad is welcome to add a comment on the Contact Us page or e-mail Mark at mnoonan@fallshigh68.com or Don at dpesich@juno.com.
