On July 4th, our oldest son Michael suffered critical burns from a bonfire accident. Two other friends of his were also burned and hospitalized. I would like to thank not only the Macedonia Fire Department for their quick response and excellent job but also Northfield Village Fire and Northfield Center Fire Departments who also responded and transported Michaels friends. I would also like to thank the Lifeflight crew for their professionalism and letting me fly along. Michael is back home now after spending a week in the burn unit at Metro Hospital. I can't say enough about how well they treated him there. Last but not least, Chris and I would like to thank all the well wishers who kept Michael in their prayers. He is doing well now but still has a lot of healing up to do.
