Money troubles? Credit card debt? Simply stressed? In these difficult economic times, everyone is struggling. Attend a free financial literacy class and gain financial freedom! Family & Community Services, Inc. (F&CS) is offering free classes on basic budgeting, credit card fundamentals and predatory lending practices, and credit reporting. Learn how to keep your family afloat with a realistic spending plan, avoid credit shams by learning the new consumer protection laws, and pull your own personal credit report to enhance your credit worthiness and monitor for identity theft. Strategies for Attaining Financial Empowerment, $.A.F.E., is dedicated to empowering individuals by promoting economic stability through financial education. Classes begin in January! F&CS will host classes Tuesdays, Jan. 12, 19, 26 from 6:15-8:15 p.m. at 705 Oakwood St., Ravenna. Trinity Lutheran Church will host classes Saturday, Jan. 16, 23, 30 from 1-3 p.m. at 600 S.
