William D. Thompson

Services were Jan. 8 for at Ferfolia Funeral Home for William D. Thompson. Mr. Thompson, 77, died Jan. 3, 2013 at Hillcrest Hospital.

Mr. Thompson was born Feb. 25, 1935, in Red House, W.Va. to Ezra and Arlene Thompson, both deceased. He worked in a canvas shop and was a U.S Navy Veteran of the Korean War.

Mr. Thompson was the husband of Dolores (nee Boggs), deceased, and the father of Gary (Bonnie), Brian (Jeanette) and Bruce, deceased, (Kim). He was the brother of Jerry (Barbara, deceased) and June Afholder, deceased, (Leo, deceased) and Donny (Pat). He had eight grandchildren.

Burial was at the Northfield Macedonia Cemetery.
