Caleigh Sullivan, of Macedonia, was among 36 local girls who earned the Girl Scout Gold Award this year, the 100th anniversary of the award. The girls were recognized June 18 at the John S. Knight Center in Akron. Nationwide, only five percent of eligible Girl Scouts go for the gold.
